Kantrowitz, Goldhamer & Graifman, P.C., a national consumer protection litigation firm, is investigating Wells Fargo Bank, N.A. for failure to protect customers’ personal data. Wells Fargo, on or around July 2024, suffered a significant data breach that exposed the private information of an undisclosed number of its present and former customers. The potentially compromised information includes, but is not limited to customers’ names, addresses, phone number, email address, dates of birth, driver’s license number, bank account number(s), and/or loan/line of credit number(s) and Social Security numbers.
Despite knowledge of the breach since July 2024, Wells Fargo, failed to inform customers and authorities of the data breach until months later.
