Yes there are, there are federal statutes and there are state statutes. Under the federal law, you have 180 days from the last act of discrimination such as a termination or the last harassing act that you may encounter with your employer. State laws have a longer statute of limitations, up to a year in most cases, but they’re state specific. But you do have to really keep attention to the time limits because if you missed the time limits then you couldn’t wave your claim against your employer.
