The car accident was the other driver’s fault. Can I just settle it myself without an attorney?

If you’re injured in an accident, you’re at a great disadvantage if you’re going to negotiate with an insurance company, so that is definitely not recommended. If you’re just talking about damage to the vehicle, that’s one thing. But if you have a personal injury, you should get representation by an attorney who’s experienced in handling personal injury cases. That will at least put you on an even playing field with the insurance company.
