What documents or evidence should I bring with me the first time I meet my attorney following my New York/New Jersey car accident?

Bring everything you have. If you have a police report, that’s great. Bring anything you have from your medical doctor, or from a hospital visit. Bring your own auto insurance policy, because the provisions of that policy are often applicable to your claim. So, the short answer is bring whatever documents you have. Let the lawyers sort out what’s important and what’s not.
