Jeep Grand Cherokee, Durango and Liberty Vehicles Accumulator Cover Plate Defect
The class action attorneys at KGG Law are investigating possible auto defects in the accumulator cover plates of Jeep Durango, Grand Cherokee and Liberty vehicles, model years 2004-2013, which result in the breaking or pulling off of the accumulator cover plate. The accumulator cover plates in these vehicles are unduly weak and cannot securely withstand the force and pressure of the accumulator pistons. This causes the screws to weaken and flex and results in the screws loosening and breaking off. On occasion, damage is incurred to the entire unit, requiring a replacement or rebuilding of the transmission or portions thereof.
